JIS SUS317L Stainless Steel Pipe is more resistant to chemical corrosion than conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels such as alloy 304. JIS SUS317L Stainless Steel Pipe is more resistant to atmospheric and other mild corrosion than conventional chromium-nickel stainless steels. JIS SUS317L Stainless Steel Pipe has excellent resistance to oxidation and has a low rate of scale formation in ordinary atmospheres at temperatures up to 1600-1650°F (871-899°C).
